I get on my way to Quilt Odyssey at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Facility in Hershey, PA. The show ranges from July 23-26. If you are going to, come discover Imaginative Artifacts/Batik Tambal in the Merchants Shopping center … I would certainly love to say hi!

This past Sunday I paused from the prep and packing for this program to welcome many participants of Judy’s Altered Minds for our month-to-month conference. We postponed our planned Zen Doodling demonstration by member Niya Costley to August in order to invite a surprise visitor, Seth Apter. Seth was in the area promoting his brand-new stamp line and also kindly made time to pay us a browse through before heading back residence to New york city.

To avoid him from being run over with our interest, we created a sign-in sheet to make sure that we can individually shop his remarkable new collection, consisting of the collections Planetary system, Faded Fragments, Pattern Play, Ink Destinations, Cross Hatch and also Lineups– these have actually just been included in our online store too.

Seth was his typical captivating self, holding court at the front of the team, as well as silently marketed his items while had our show & tell session. He requested his own views of every person’s work and thrilled all with his remarks as well as anecdotes.

I was pretty satisfied to have my very own program & inform product– frequently this is not the situation! I had completed my slow sewed patchwork that features wooden printing block images … I revealed this underway in a previous blog posting. Click the below photo for a larger view.
